Last night, Nigerian singer Wizkid and his collaborator Tems won the American Music Awards (AMA) 2022 for “Favorite R&B Song” together with his global hit “Essence”.
Big congratulations to Wizkid for choosing up yet another worldwide award for his global hit tune “Essence“. The Starboy honcho won yet another award years after he launched the “Made In Lagos” album.
Wizkid and Tems were earlier nominated for the “Favorite R&B Song” award on the AMA 2022 and went directly to win the category. In deed, “Essence” has been big in America after becoming a multi-platinum single promoting hundreds of thousands of units in America.
The AMA 2022 organisers announced the win throughout the award display at Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles.
