Arsenal go five points clear on top of the Premier League table after beating Everton 4-0, Gistmast reports.
Bukayo Saka kept his goal-scoring form as Gabriel Martinelli nets a brace to keep his form going which secured all three points for the encounter.
The first half was glorious coming from the home side who had total dominance and control of their opponent.
Arsenal did well enough going forward in the opening minutes of the match which saw them pulling some touches which almost led to a goal.
Everton held on fine in the match all through until the 40th minutes which saw Bukayo Saka breaking free to make the scoreline 1-0 with a brilliant finish.
Another one came in the 45th minutes plus added time through Gabriel Martinelli who was able to make it 2-0 as the game carried between them.
Arsenal headed inside for the break with a 2-0 advantage against Everton after 45 minutes of football played between the both of them for the night.
Second Half Report
The second half of the match was another one which saw the home side doing well to finish what they started in the first 45 minutes.
Everton were more coordinated as they played so well to keep their defense clean from any approach coming from the home side who were in control.
Meanwhile for Arsenal, their objective was to make sure they kill off time while doing more to at least make something happen before the end.
Another goal was scored in the 71st minutes of the game making the scoreline 3-0 with the finish from Martin Odegaard which was brilliant.
Arsenal claimed the victory with another one from Gabriel Martinelli who made it his brace and a 4-0 victory against Everton which send the Gunners five points clear of the table.
What an excellent game by Arsenal last night. Beating Everton comfortably showed the rest of ourchallengers that we definitely mean business and will fight every day to win the coveted Premier League trophy.
Winning our game in hand has given us a comfortable cushion and our challengers are now aware that they cannot afford to drop points and watch us disappear into the distance.
Martinelli, Trossard and Saka were perfectly sublime up front and once we took the lead the result was beyond doubt, and the goals we all pieces of art, and Odegaard’s brilliant team goal was the icing on the cake.
