Davido, one of Nigeria’s most successful musicians, recently explained his decision not to honor his late son in his new album ‘Timeless’. His son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, died in 2020 at the age of one year.

He said his main goal is to release an album that his fans can enjoy without getting emotional. He doesn’t want his fans to be angry or sad when they listen to his music. Therefore, he chose to focus on pleasing his audience with his new album.
Davido has always been known for his upbeat music, even during difficult times in his life. He emphasized that he is always happy no matter what he is going through. He said that if he was going to release a sad song, he would create something different for that purpose. He didn’t want to combine emotional music with “Timeless”, because it wouldn’t fit with the overall concept of the album.
