Following the passing of Mohbad, a petition to outlaw the record company Naira Marley’s Marlian Music Records has amassed close to 50,000 signatures.

Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, commonly known as Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Music who died just over a year after his contentious breakup with the company controlled by Naira Marley, inspired this petition.

Naira Marley, the head of the record label, and his goons, according to the musician, threatened to have him killed while he was still alive.

Recall that Mohbad’s passing was acknowledged by authorities on Tuesday, September 10, 2023. His demise’s cause is still unknown.

The police revealed on Thursday that they were looking into Mohbad’s death.

A petition to outlaw Marlian Records, the late singer’s former record label, has been started by incensed admirers.

50,000 people had signed the petition as of the time this story was filed.
